Our moderation policy aims to maintain a safe, high-quality environment for all users.

1. General principles

Vintew moderates content posted on the platform in order to:

Protect users from scams and fraudulent content
Ensure compliance with French law
Maintain the quality of published listings
Maintain a respectful environment for everyone

2. Prohibited content

The following content is prohibited and will be removed:

Illegal goods: drugs, weapons, counterfeit or stolen goods, and prescription medicines offered without a prescription

Hateful content: discrimination, incitement to hatred, and racist, sexist or homophobic statements

Sexual content: pornography, sexual services and content involving minors

Scams: fake listings, phishing, pyramid schemes and fake financial services

Animals: sale of animals without complying with applicable regulations (identification, vaccination)

Spam: duplicate listings and content unrelated to a legitimate sale or service

3. Moderation process

Pre-publication review

Each listing is checked before publication by an automated system supported by human reviewers. Compliant listings are typically approved within a few minutes.

Community reports

Any user can report a suspicious listing or profile using the Report button. Reports are handled within 24 hours at most.

Automated detection

Our systems automatically detect suspicious content (unusual prices, prohibited keywords and inappropriate images) for priority review.

4. Enforcement

Actions depend on the severity and repetition of the violation:

Violation	Action
First minor violation	Listing removal + warning
Repeat or moderate violation	Temporary suspension (7 days)
Serious violation	Permanent account suspension
Illegal activity	Removal + report to the authorities

5. Appeals

If your listing was removed or your account suspended and you believe this was a mistake, you can appeal by contacting our team at [email protected] with your account ID and the reason for your appeal.

We aim to review your case within 48 business hours.

6. Legal compliance

In accordance with the LCEN law and the Digital Services Act (DSA), Vintew:

Provides an accessible and straightforward reporting mechanism
Promptly removes clearly unlawful content
Cooperates with judicial authorities upon request
Publishes an annual transparency report
